According to Forbes Royal Dutch took the top spot among the oil and gas sector companies on the Forbes Global 2000 list of the biggest and more powerful public companies surpassing last year's leader Exxon Mobil Corp. The Royal Dutch ranked 11th among all the companies on the list, up from the 20th the previous year, mostly because of higher sales due to lofty commodity prices. Taxes Based Exxon came in at 13th, the same as of last year.       

Fedral Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Bashir Memon has ordered to launch an inquiry against illegal housing schemes across the country. a news source reported. FIA zones operating across the country will lodge criminal cases against schemes,which are being alleged of malpractices. The DG FIA has been directed to complete the operation with in three months of time. FIA previously prepared a list of housing societies operating across the country in january. It also submitted a forensic audit report of the said societies to the honorable Supreme Court. According to the forensic report, at least 6072 housing societies established across the country have been found illegal or involved in malpractices. The number of registered housing societies across the country stood at 3053. Out of those, at least 667 were cooperative housing schemes.Whereas the number of societies which had applied for registration was 1716.

The launching ceremony, held at Pakistan Post’s Islamabad office on Saturday, was also attended by the Director General Pakistan Post Dr. Naseer Ahmed and other senior officials of Ministry of Postal Services. Director General Pakistan Post Dr. Naseer Ahmed, while talking to the state-owned newswire agency APP on Friday, said that the national postal service has the capacity and commitment to cater to online vendors for their cash on delivery products.
